Problematic scars

Some scars do not heal ideally and develop into problematic scars. The most common are: Raised or hypertrophic scar, Sunken or atrophic scar and Overgrowing scar or keloid.

Indications: hypertrophic and keloidal scars, movement-restricting and cosmetically disfiguring scars after operations, amputations, burns and accidents; contractures such as Dupuytren’s contracture and traumatic tendon contractures; cicatrical structures (atrophic scars) once these lesions have closed. *
