It is never too late for scar treatment

Ideally, treatment with Contractubex® begins as early as possible so that unsightly scars do not develop in the first place. But even scars that are one year old or older can be treated with Contractubex®. And even hypertrophic raised scars and keloids, proliferating scars, can be visibly improved in appearance.

Often, "old" scar tissue becomes hardened as a result of dehydration in the tissues. In these cases, Contractubex® should massaged in 3 times a day for at least 6 months. The scar gel penetrates deep into the skin due to its special composition and can help make the scar more elastic and inconspicuous.

This "penetration" can be even further reinforced by special application methods.

Treatment at home

At home, you can improve the effect of Contractubex® in two ways - with a gel dressing or a bath. For a gel dressing, generously apply Contractubex® in the evening and cover it with a dressing made of transparent film. This enables the effect to fully develop overnight.

Alternatively, you can also bathe the affected skin area. To do this, dissolve a strand of Contractubex® in warm water and bathe the scar for about 10 minutes with this solution.

Treatment by your dermatologist

Through treatment with therapeutic ultrasound, Contractubex® can penetrate even deeper into the skin. The active ingredients penetrate even better and good success can be achieved with older scars.
