Smooth skin and no hairs

For women in particular small hairs on the face, legs or groin can be a worry. Shaving, waxing or epilation only deal with the problem temporarily. And each method can cause redness, or even inflammation if hair decides to grow inwards.

Lasting smooth skin

The permanent solution to the problem is laser therapy plus good skin care. The method is extremely simple: A laser is focused on the areas requiring treatment. The hairs capture the light energy of the laser and the root is destroyed. Darker hairs are easier to treat with a laser because the pigment absorbs more light. IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) or treatment with high-energy flashes work according to the same principle.

Up to six treatments necessary

Treatment lasts between 5 and 30 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated. The hair roots are destroyed and fall out after about two weeks. In order to ensure that all hairs are destroyed 4-6 sessions a few weeks apart will be necessary.

Skin care after treatment helps the skin to recover

Laser treatment to remove hair is not entirely risk-free. You can expect your skin to react very sensitively to sunlight for a few days after treatment. Burns similar to sunburn occasionally occur. In such cases it is important to treat your skin very carefully to help it to regenerate. Contractubex® helps your skin to recover from the burning that can result from laser treatment, ensuring that you can step out confidently and show off your new smooth skin as soon as possible.
